About this file
This document is a Request for Proposal (RFP) from the JSD (Jurisdiction School District) for Classroom Management Software, specifically RFP# 26TH01P5. The RFP outlines a presentation evaluation process for potential software vendors, where offerors who pass the Stage 2 Technical Proposal Evaluation with a minimum of 588 points (70%) will be invited to a virtual presentation meeting tentatively scheduled between August 6-15, 2025. The presentation will allow vendors to demonstrate their software's compatibility, integrations, and functionality across various criteria, including web-based performance on Chromebook, Apple, and PC devices, student and teacher rostering methods, authentication processes, and comprehensive classroom management features.
The evaluation criteria are structured into two main sections: Software Requirements (170 total possible points) and Training and Technical Support (30 total possible points). Key software requirements include demonstrating web-based functionality, rostering with potential Skyward SMS 2.0 integration, Google Workspace authentication, teacher controls like website blacklisting/whitelisting, student device monitoring, tab management, communication tools, and administrative access levels. The training and technical support section will assess vendors' initial and ongoing training options, professional development availability, and student information upload processes. The total possible points for the presentation evaluation is 200, with vendors expected to showcase specific technical capabilities that align with the district's educational technology needs.
