About this file
This Statement of Work (SOW) details electrical power and communications infrastructure installation for a mobile Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) at Fort Bliss, Texas. The project requires the contractor to install a new 200-foot underground electrical raceway with a 200-amp single-phase main feed, including a Nema 3R panel, PVC conduit with burial tape, and fiber optic cabling between specified locations. The work involves underground utility coordination, cable routing through conduits, splicing fiber optic connectors, system testing, and restoration of disturbed landscape, with a performance period of approximately 60 days.
Key technical specifications include installing 200(2) 12-strand single-mode armored fiber optic cables, fusion splicing LC/UPC connectors, routing cables through liquid-tight conduits, and creating fiber optic distribution connections. The contractor is responsible for all labor, materials, equipment, permits, and must provide a one-year warranty. The project is a 100% small business set-aside with an estimated value between $25,000 and $100,000, commissioned by the Department of the Air Force Global Strike Command for the 7 ASOS (7th Air Support Operations Squadron) facility at Fort Bliss.
