The agreement is effective July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2027, with automatic renewal thereafter unless either party provides 120 days' written notice of intent to modify, amend, or terminate.
The agreement establishes comprehensive employment terms including wage rates with 5% increases effective July 2024, 3% increases in July 2025 and July 2026, and shift differentials of 10% above straight-time rates for second and third shifts. Full-time employees accrue vacation at tiered rates (80-160 hours annually based on years of service), sick leave at 3.69 hours per pay period (maximum 96 hours annually), and 12 paid holidays annually. The agreement specifies a standard 40-hour workweek with first shift 7:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m. and second shift 2:00 p.m.-10:30 p.m., overtime paid at 1.5 times regular rate for hours exceeding 40 per week, and a 4-hour minimum call-in requirement. Union security provisions require employees to join the union within 31 working days of employment as a condition of continued employment. The agreement includes progressive discipline procedures (oral warning, written warning, three-day suspension, termination), grievance and arbitration procedures with expedited provisions for union recognition disputes, and comprehensive leave protections including FMLA compliance, military leave, funeral leave (three days immediate family), and jury duty (maximum ten paid days annually). An attendance policy in Appendix A establishes disciplinary frameworks for absences, no-call/no-shows, and tardiness, with infractions expiring after 12 months.
