Comments Action Taken*
General xx 01 We do not consider these review comments to constitute a change to your contract. If, in your opinion, work beyond the scope of services is required, please contact XXXXXXXXX, Contract Specialist, at (757) 852- 34xx.
xx 02 The primary purpose of these review comments is to identify items that do not appear to be in compliance with the RFP requirements. It is not the intent of the review to provide a coordination review with other disciplines;
a code compliance review, etc. although potential conflicts or questions concerning code compliance may be included for the designer’s information/action. Compliance with the RFP specification 01158, 01159 and 01160 is required regardless of whether or not an RFP required item is shown on the drawings or if apparent non-compliance is not noted in
If Contractor disagrees with comment or feels that further discussion is required, then Contractor shall contact the FDCC Project Manager and resolve the issue before proceeding with design. Resubmission of the design shall be based on the resolution reached between the Contractor and Government.
review comments.
The review is largely limited to what has been submitted, recognizing that this is identified as being a XX% xxxxxxx submittal [and that the design is not complete or fully coordinated].
03 The contractor is required to comply with the RFP requirements regardless of whether or not a review a comment was made on what could be considered as an “unapproved” deviation from the RFP requirements. It is not the intent of the review to identify where the design exceeds RFP requirements, although comments may be made where it appears that there may be a misinterpretation of the RFP requirements.
Comments contained within cells with yellow fill are considered “critical” and shall be responded to within 7 calendar days.
Contractor should contact the FDCC Project Manager to arrange discussions with reviewers.
