Responses to Questions
Answers provided 21 April 2020
This document provides United States Coast Guard (USCG) responses for questions that have been asked regarding solicitation 70Z03820QE0000007. Question numbers are provided simply as a reference and in no way infer a prioritization of the questions.
Number Question USCG Response 1 Do we assume correctly that the "Unit Price" in CLINS 0001, 1001, 2001, 3001 and 4001 is the bidder's monthly price based on the estimated monthly quantity of instruments from the table "Estimated Yearly Pieces for all calibration services", and is 3,840/12 = 320 instruments per month?
Yes- the average monthly pieces is 320 throughout the duration of the contract.
2 Can we assume that for all the CLIN years an estimated 3,840 instrument will be calibrated per year and that this takes into account the instrument calibration intervals?
Yes- 3,840 pieces account for all calibrated pieces throughout the period of performance (12 Months).
3 Are we required to provide the calibration cost per instrument separately in our response?
No-however, the vendor has the opportunity to discuss pricing in Volume VI Non-Certified Cost/Price Analysis (maximum 3 pages).
