SAM.gov Pre-Solicitation Notice
Description, solicitation released on 8/22/22 with proposal due on 9/6/22 (ten business days)
Question: While the limited pricing required can be achieved in the time allotted, it’s physically impossible to write a custom plan of accomplishment for the project in that time frame. Can the 9/6/22 due date be extended?

Answer: Currently, we are requesting a “project schedule” (e.g., Excel spreadsheet, Gantt chart) to ensure the offeror can accomplish the installation prior to the museum opening while identifying the major milestones needed.

Attachment IV Solicitation Provisions
Page 5 of 34, Factor 2: Corporate Experience
Question: This seems to be redundant with Factor 5. Shouldn’t this be corporate history and capabilities? No page limits, please.

Answer: While the two factors seem very similar in nature, they are, in fact, different concepts that focus on different aspects of past work, and will be used by the Government to determine its level of confidence that the Offeror (Factor 2) has completed similar work, and (Factor 5) has delivered quality products in a timely manner.

Experience (Factor 2) factor focuses on the degree to which an offeror has actually performed similar work.

Past performance (Factor 5) focuses on the quality of the work performed.

7
