About this file
This document contains questions and answers related to a solicitation for a Communication Management System for the United States Coast Guard Polar Security Cutter Program. The solicitation seeks a system that includes a Red and Black switching system, Common End-User Terminals, and Communication Management Software to provide connections between radios, cryptographic devices, classified terminals, and other equipment. It also requires management of exterior communication radios. Many questions seek clarification on requirements and definitions, such as the types of radios and interfaces required, environmental certifications needed, and control functions for the terminals. The responses provide additional details about the system design and components.
