About this file

This document outlines potential future tasks for a Nevada State Purchasing Division contract administered by the Nevada Department of Administration on behalf of the Nevada Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) and the Nevada Department of Environmental Protection (NDEP). The potential future tasks span three primary bureaus: the Bureau of Water Quality Planning, the Bureau of Safe Drinking Water, and the Bureau of Sustainable Materials Management. Under the Bureau of Water Quality Planning, tasks may include development of EPA-approvable nine-element watershed plans, updates to the 208 Water Quality Management Plan, water quality sampling for special projects, updates to the State Handbook of Best Management Practices, anti-degradation implementation guidance, wetlands protection program guidance, and feasibility assessments for compensatory mitigation programs. The Bureau of Safe Drinking Water may require support in planning activities such as indirect/direct potable reuse, operator certification guidance, PFAS-related efforts, and federal rules implementation, along with permitting support including engineering design review, staff training, template preparation, source water protection, technical studies, permit language drafting, and compliance support. The Bureau of Sustainable Materials Management may need assistance with hazardous and solid waste permitting, sustainability program development and review, compliance inspections, and enforcement activities.

All potential future tasks listed in this document are subject to amendment into the project if deemed necessary and approved by the Board of Examiners. The document specifies that these tasks represent optional additions to the base contract rather than mandatory deliverables and establish a framework for scope expansion based on state agency needs and board approval. No pricing, contract term, response deadlines, or award information is provided in this potential future tasks document, as it serves as a supplementary attachment to define possible scope extensions rather than establish binding contract terms.
