About this file

This is a Permit Application Submission Certification document associated with Hillsborough County's CDBG-DR Notice of Funding Availability for Small Multifamily Rehabilitation Projects in Florida. The certification establishes the requirements and procedures for applicants submitting permit applications as part of their proposals for rehabilitating, managing, and operating small multifamily housing projects addressing unmet recovery needs from Hurricanes Helene and Milton. The document outlines the mandatory certification process that applicants must complete and submit to demonstrate compliance with permit application submission requirements and to verify the accuracy and completeness of their application materials. This certification serves as a critical component of the competitive sealed proposal process and ensures that all submitting entities have properly documented their permit applications in accordance with project specifications and funding guidelines.

The certification document establishes accountability measures requiring applicants to certify that all required permits and supporting documentation have been properly prepared, submitted to appropriate jurisdictions, and comply with local, state, and federal requirements. The document specifies that applications must be truthfully and completely certified by authorized representatives of the applicant organizations, confirming that all permit-related submissions are accurate and sufficient for project implementation. This certification requirement is integral to the overall CDBG-DR funding process, which allocates $10,000,000.00 toward eligible small multifamily rehabilitation projects, and ensures that selected entities have obtained or can obtain the necessary regulatory approvals before project commencement.
