About this file
This document is an Attachment 1 for Federal and Idaho Law Acknowledgements from West Ada School District (Joint School District #2) located in Meridian, Idaho. The attachment contains multiple legal certifications that vendors and contractors must complete when doing business with the school district, including certifications regarding anti-collusion, anti-lobbying, boycotts, China ownership, debarment and suspension, equal employment opportunity, and sex offender registry compliance.
Key requirements include certifications that vendors: are not owned by the Chinese government; do not engage in boycotts of goods from Israel or of companies involved in fossil fuel, timber, firearms, or other specified industries; have not been suspended from federal procurement; will comply with equal employment opportunity regulations; and will prohibit registered sex offenders from working on school district properties. Vendors must also provide employee lists and verify they have cross-checked employees against the Idaho and National Sex Offender Registries. The document requires an authorized company official's signature to confirm compliance with these various legal and ethical standards for doing business with the school district.
