About this file
This document contains procurement portal instructions issued by the City of Charlotte, North Carolina, for the Blue Line Track Reprofile and Alignment Services contract. The City of Charlotte is seeking a contractor to provide rail grinding services to restore rail profile, remove surface defects, improve wheel-rail interface performance, extend rail life, and reduce noise and vibration along the Authority's rail network. The contractor must provide all labor, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, planning, and documentation necessary to perform these services. All solicitation questions must be submitted electronically through the Vendor Discussions section of the Bonfire procurement portal at https://charlottenc.bonfirehub.com. Vendors must submit all responses electronically via the same portal under the respective project page and must upload, submit, and finalize their submissions prior to the posted project deadline.
The City of Charlotte strongly recommends vendors allow at least one week prior to the deadline to begin the uploading process and finalize submissions, as large document uploads may require significant time depending on file size and internet connection speed. The Bonfire procurement portal is compatible with Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, and Mozilla Firefox browsers, with Javascript and browser cookies enabled. Technical support is available through Bonfire's help forum at https://vendorsupport.gobonfire.com/hc/en-us, via email at Support@GoBonfire.com, or by telephone at 1-800-354-8010.
