About this file

This file contains signed guidelines for non-employees with limited access to students issued by the Cherokee County School District (CCSD) Procurement Services Department in Georgia. The guidelines establish conduct and access standards for vendors and other non-school employees operating within CCSD facilities. Non-employees are permitted contact with students only as authorized by school administration and must conduct their activities in designated areas necessary for their specific responsibilities. All non-employees must be present on school premises during regular school hours or at times pre-arranged with administration, and access is restricted to areas where children are not present unless accompanied by a school employee escort. Non-employees are prohibited from soliciting student participation in their work activities and must maintain professional conduct in both actions and speech at all times while on school premises.

The guidelines establish specific behavioral and operational restrictions for vendor compliance. Non-employees are expected to report any student actions or behavior to administration rather than respond directly, and they may not engage in smoking or use offensive or inappropriate language while on school property. These guidelines appear to be a requirement for vendors responding to CCSD's RFP for an Integrated Employee Badge Management Solution, which seeks qualified vendors to provide a comprehensive, district-wide card access badge system including credential production, system compatibility verification, reader flashing, and finished badge delivery. All questions regarding this RFP must be submitted through the Euna Procurement Message Center.
