About this file
This document appears to be a Questions and Answers (Q&A) document related to a federal contract opportunity for the WY FLAP JOH 14(1) North Fork Crazy Woman Creek Bridge project.
The key details are as follows: The project involves the replacement of an existing bridge structure on Crazy Woman Canyon Road/Route 33 in Johnson County, Wyoming. The new single-span prefabricated bridge will be 14 feet wide and 51 feet long, with rolled girders, structural steel decking, and a gravel deck surface. New concrete abutments and wingwalls supported by micropile foundations will be constructed, and no additional scour protection is required. The existing bridge is load-rated for 2-3 Axles: 11T, 4-5 Axles: 12T, 6+ Axles: 13T, Semi-Truck: 20T, and Tandem: 21T. The Q&A document clarifies that weathering steel should be used for the thrie-beam bridge railing, not galvanized guardrail as previously specified. The project is being managed by the Central Federal Lands Highway Division (CFLHD) of the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), in cooperation with the U.S. Forest Service (USFS) and Johnson County, Wyoming.
