ORF HVAC Replacement Services Contractor Questions and Answers 2
May 21, 2025
I am reaching out regarding alternate equipment. I have an option of equipment from a different company. It meets all specs, and the equipment is a fair amount cheaper and would save money.
Is anyone opposed to us using this equipment in our bid?
FAA Answer: As long as the equipment provided by the vendor meets our specifications and aligns with the Basis of Design (BOD), it is considered acceptable. In accordance with our technical regulations, we are not permitted to recommend specific manufacturers
