STATEMENT OF WORK

QUARTERLY FIRE ALARM SYSTEM TESTING

SCOPE OF WORK:

Contractor shall test components and verify operation of the Simplex 4100U fire alarm system at the FAA New York ARTCC on a quarterly basis.

Work shall include testing 25 percent of:

▪ 54 Duct Detector

▪ 35 Heat Detector: Restorable

▪ 700 Smoke Detectors

▪ 64 Fire Alarm Boxes (Manual Pull Station)

▪ 2 Elevator Shunt Trip Test/Per Bank

▪ 6 Vesda Early Detection Device-Visual inspection only to verify system is in normal configuration and that no alarms are present

▪ 6 Door Closer/Holder

▪ 145 Fire Alarm Audio Visual Device (A/V)

1,000 devices consisting of: smoke detectors, heat detectors, manual pull stations, horns and strobe lights.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

All work is to be accomplished during the week starting at 10:00 p.m. The work schedule shall be coordinated with the COR. An FAA employee must be present at all times during the performance of this contract.

Contractor shall furnish all equipment and supplies necessary to perform the work in accordance with this statement of work and whatever governmental and other codes and standards that may apply. Contractor warrants that all equipment will be of such type as to cause no hazard or danger reasonably foreseeable.
