PART III - SECTION J
ATTACHMENT – J-16 DRAWING INSTRUCTIONS/CLARIFICATION SHEET
Notes:
1) Priced response (completion of Attachment J-12, Cost Build Up) must only be included in Volume III-Pricing.
2) Sample drawings for ACEPS Phase 2, CPDS Type 1 and CPDS Type 2 are to be found in Attachments J-13, J-14 and J-15.
The Electrical Distribution Equipment vendor is required to generate a Bill of Materials (BOM) for the following design package. The vendor is responsible for supplying all EDE material and assemblies called out as GFE in the design as it aligns with the vendors COTS equipment. The following list of equipment should NOT be included in the BOM even if it is listed as GFE in the design package:
• All Static Transfer Switches
• All Automatic Transfer Switches
• Primary Uninterruptible Power Source
(Note: internal UPS systems to EDE equipment, if applicable, must be supplied by the EDE vendor and integrated into the BOM)
• Engine Generator systems
• All external Transient Voltage Surge Suppressors
(Note: if the vendors COTS equipment comes with integral TVSS systems, this information must be highlighted and noted as such on the BOM)
• All Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
The vendor is responsible for integrating both the EDE and all other supplied equipment (STS, EG, Load bank, and UPS) into their EPMS system per the specifications in Section J. If there is a specific piece of EDE equipment that does not align with the vendors COTS (size, rating, etc), but the vendor can substitute an equal, the item must be highlighted and noted as such.
All equipment on the BOM must be labeled with the designation per the supplied drawings [one-line], all Exhibit B.2 designation numbers associated with the one-line as well as the vendors own COTS designations (Part number, description, etc). The contractor must certify the supplied design and bill of material will, when assembled, result in a fully operational system that meets all of the form fit and function for the intended use and meets all requirements (Reference L.CXXX)
The vendor is required to list/price all associated contacts and internal equipment wiring for the EDE as per the drawings or as needed to integrate with the other supplied equipment. Pricing is not required in cases where the internal equipment is included in the price of the associated equipment, for example, an auxiliary contact that is a standard breaker accessory. As part of the submitted pricing and BOM, the vendor must create and supply an EPMS network drawing.
The contractor must supply a line item cost for two site visits (each system ACEPS, CPDS Type 1, CPDS Type 2). Site visit one must be for quality control verification of interconnection of both EDE equipment and the associated EPMS connections to equipment supplied by another vendor. The second visit must be for initial startup and operational testing as required by the FAA. On Attachment J-12 the contractor must break-out all associated labor hours on its own line item per labor category for supplying a completed design (engineering, technician, etc.).
The vendor must cross reference all feeder schedules to their associated COTS equipment.
Where feeder size surpasses the COTS connection size, the vendor must highlight and note this along with appropriate resolution (this includes ground wires).
The vendor must include all lighting panels and associated breakers as indicated.
