About this file
This is a Technical Proposal document for Musical Instrument Repair services issued by Granite School District in Utah under RFP AP26-012. The district seeks multiple contract awards for comprehensive musical instrument repair services across five categories: Woodwinds, Brass, Strings, Percussion, and Modern/Rhythm Section Instruments. The contract will commence on the award date and continue for one year, with options for annual renewal for up to four additional years contingent upon vendor agreement. Vendors must specify which instrument categories they are applying to service and demonstrate their qualifications accordingly.
The technical proposal requires vendors to address five key areas: (1) repair request and completion processes, including methods for initiating requests, scheduling logistics, turnaround time estimates for minor, moderate, and major repairs, status updates, and delivery arrangements; (2) customer service standards encompassing response times, hours of operation, and assigned points of contact; (3) billing and invoicing structures, estimate procedures, and documentation requirements; (4) quality assurance measures including warranties, staff qualifications, and processes for addressing warranty claims or rework requests; and (5) experience and references, requiring vendors to detail qualified instrument types, authorized dealer relationships, any service limitations, school service experience, and minimum two current or recent school client references with contact information. The proposal format specifies that all responses must be provided in designated spaces, with incomplete submissions subject to rejection.
