Proposals will be evaluated across four scoring categories: Product Quality, Specifications, and Equivalency (250 points); Installation, Service, Support, and Warranty (250 points); Vendor Qualifications, Experience, and Ability to Perform (250 points); and Cost (250 points). Cost scoring will be calculated using a proportional formula whereby the lowest responsive and responsible cost proposal receives the full 250 points, with other proposals scored proportionally based on their cost relative to the lowest bid. The District reserves the right to award contracts to multiple vendors, by item, or by category based on best value determinations for individual projects, which may include considerations of budget, cost, individual school preference, district preference, and compatibility. Vendors must guarantee pricing for one year. The award of a contract does not guarantee any specific purchase volume or use of the awarded vendor's products or services. Proposers are required to comply with the District's Standard Terms and Conditions, and any exceptions or additions must be submitted with the proposal by the deadline; exceptions submitted after the proposal due date will not be considered. All legal negotiations must be conducted using MS Word format with redline editing capabilities.
