The Town retains the right to terminate the agreement for convenience with written notice, with compensation limited to services rendered through the termination date on a prorated basis. Additionally, the agreement may be terminated if funds are not appropriated in subsequent fiscal years or if construction is halted by court order or state department directive. The contractor must comply with all applicable South Carolina laws, including the Illegal Immigration Reform Act, and must utilize the Federal E-Verify Work Authorization Program for all new hires.
