About this file

This is a Public Contract Boycott Restriction Statement for Request for Proposals (RFP) #27TH05P5, issued by Jordan School District in Utah for Nonprofit CRM Software to support the Jordan Education Foundation. The RFP seeks a qualified vendor to provide software solutions to manage customer relationships for the district's nonprofit arm. All vendors responding to this RFP must comply with Utah Code 63G-27 (S.B. 97) regarding public contract boycott restrictions and certify their compliance with the document, which must be submitted with the bid response.

Vendors must certify they are not currently engaged in an "economic boycott" or "boycott of the State of Israel" as defined in Utah Code and agree to maintain compliance throughout the entire contract period if awarded. The boycott restrictions prohibit vendors from boycotting, without ordinary business purpose, the State of Israel; traditional energy, mining, or agriculture companies; firearm manufacturers and distributors; companies with environmental practices below state and federal standards; or organizations providing abortion or sex characteristic surgeries. Vendors must immediately notify the public entity in writing if they engage in such boycotts during contract performance. The statement requires vendor signature, printed name, and date as evidence of compliance.

PUBLIC CONTRACT BOYCOTT RESTRICTION STATEMENT

(This document to be submitted with bid response)

In accordance with Utah Code 63G-27 (S.B. 97) Public Contract Boycott Restrictions, vendors contracting with the Jordan School District to provide any good or service, including supplies, information technology, or construction services, must certify they are not currently engaged in an “economic boycott” nor a “boycott of the State of Israel” as those terms are defined in that Code section. Vendors must also agree not to engage in either boycott for the duration of the contract (if awarded). For example, a vendor may not, without an ordinary business purpose, boycott: the State of Israel; companies engaged in activities related to traditional energy, mining, or agriculture; companies engaged in the manufacture, distribution, sale, or use of firearms;

companies that do not meet environmental standards beyond applicable state and federal laws;

or companies that do not facilitate access to abortion or sex characteristic surgeries. If a vendor does engage in such a boycott, it must immediately notify the public entity party to the contract in writing.

We agree to comply with the above statement during the entire contract period.
