Spec Section: 10 28 00 – Toilet, Bath, and Laundry Accessories
Drawing: NA
Contractor Question:
I would just like to confirm the part number for the hand dryers on the Kingsford Armory Renovation project. The spec sheet shows the World Dryer VERDEdri #Q-972A2 as basis of design. That is a
“Polished” Stainless Steel cover. The Wall Guards listed in the spec only come in a “Brushed” Stainless
Steel. We do have the hand dryer in a “brushed” finish and that would be part #Q-973A2.
PSC Answer:
This is done intentionally. The owner knows this, and this is what they want.
RFI#002
Spec Section: NA
For this project the specifications for the Steam Finned Tube, Unit Heater, Cabinet Heater and Steam Coil are missing from the mechanical specifications.
Use the schedule models/makes as a basis for design for these items.
RFI#003
Drawing: M602, M603
I see that Control Contractor on the MEP drawings in ACC. Are they going to be the controls contractor that the armory wants? If so are they bidding out to the GC alone or going through the Mechanical
Contractor like we normally do?
Through the mechanical contractor.
