About this file
This document is Form A, a Respondent's Execution of Proposal and Assurances (with Certification) from the Office of the Attorney General (OAG) of Texas. The form is a comprehensive certification document that requires potential contractors to affirm compliance with numerous state and federal regulations across 28 distinct sections. The document mandates that respondents certify their eligibility, ethical standing, and adherence to various legal requirements, including but not limited to antitrust laws, child support obligations, cybersecurity training, E-Verify usage, and prohibitions on discriminatory practices.
Key certifications include commitments to not boycott Israel, avoid dealings with foreign terrorist organizations, comply with state risk management programs, refrain from requiring COVID-19 vaccine passports, and utilize the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's E-Verify system. The form requires respondents to disclose ownership information, with a requirement to list names and Social Security Numbers of individuals with at least 25% ownership of the business entity. Failure to provide complete and accurate information can result in disqualification of the response, and the document emphasizes that any false certifications may lead to contract termination, withheld payments, and potential legal liability.
