About this file

This is a Technical Criteria Attachment for a Request for Statements of Qualifications (RFSQ) issued by the State of Utah Division of Purchasing on behalf of the Utah Office of Tourism (UOT). The solicitation seeks qualified vendors to design, fabricate, install, and operate a custom exhibition booth for the UOT at the IPW Conference over a five-year contract period. The booth must cover two 10'x20' spaces positioned across an aisle from one another and include integrated components such as lighting, monitors, signage, storage, and charging stations. Vendors must submit detailed proposals addressing custom booth design and fabrication, logistics and installation (I&D/D&R) management, and on-site operational services without including pricing information. The vendor with the highest technical ranking will be selected to negotiate contract terms determined to be fair and reasonable.

The technical evaluation consists of 95 total points distributed across three categories: Custom Booth Design, Fabrication, and Management (45 points), Logistics and Installation services (30 points), and On-site Operational Services Plan (20 points). Proposals must demonstrate design feasibility through renderings, material specifications, and technical drawings; clear fabrication plans for all specified components; a detailed project schedule with identified milestones and a primary project manager; prior experience managing similar I&D projects at large-scale events with contingency planning; and a utility management plan with licensed electrician coordination and daily cleaning service provisions. A minimum acceptable technical score is required for proposals to advance to final evaluation, with contract award and negotiations to follow with the highest-ranked vendor.
