About this file
This document outlines significant changes to solicitation 47QMCA23R0076 for 2024 Star of Life Ambulances. Key changes include requiring proposals be submitted through FedConnect rather than email, extending the period of performance to a base period of sixty months from April 2024 through March 2029 without option periods. Damage in transit and defects/recalls reporting requirements were changed, and contract administration was updated to direct vendors to utilize the Department of Transportation's Invoice Processing Platform portal. Two open season periods per year will allow existing contractors to update pricing and propose new line items, and new offerors to submit proposals for award. Required clauses were updated to include prohibitions on ByteDance covered applications and include Best In Class and appropriate Executive Order clauses, as well as clauses for Section 889(a) covered telecommunications. First production vehicle inspection requirements were also changed.
