Amendment No.1 to

Solicitation No.470945 for

Key Card Access Control System

GENERAL: Amendment No. 1 is issued for the following:

1. Project Clarification

Overview/Scope of Work There are four (4) existing dorm or “hotel” style buildings where we would like to convert the existing pin tumbler locksets for the guest rooms to a stand-alone battery-powered electronic lockset with card access functionality. The new locksets should be able to operate without any network connectivity with key cards that have 2-way communication with the lockset. The key cards should contain access data like time frame and doors that can be unlocked by the user and be able to record activity for the key card. Head end equipment to program the key cards will be at a separate building where the users will check in and receive the key cards or replace lost key cards. Lost key cards should be deactivated when a replacement key card or control key card is programmed and presented to the lockset.
