About this file

This is an Invitation for Bid (IFB) document from the City of South Jordan, Utah, for holiday lighting installation and removal services. The City seeks experienced contractors to install approximately 3,000 strands of standard LED holiday lights on roughly seventy (70) trees in the Towne Center area near City Hall. The City will provide the lights, and the contractor must complete installation and ensure all lights are functional by November 20, 2026. Removal operations must commence the first week of January 2027 and be completed no later than February 5, 2027. Bids will be received through Bonfire, the State of Utah's online procurement website, until the closing date and time specified on that platform. All submissions must be made electronically through Bonfire, and vendors must register on the system prior to bidding. Questions regarding bid procedures or the Bonfire platform should be directed to support.bonfire@eunasolutions.com, while all substantive questions about the project must be submitted through Bonfire's Question and Answer function.

The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, equipment, equipment rental costs, and any other expenses associated with the installation and removal of the holiday lighting. The City of South Jordan specifically requests that interested bidders not contact the municipality directly with questions. Bidders must be registered vendors on the BONFIRE website (https://utah.bonfirehub.com/), and registration, email notifications, and electronic responses are provided at no cost under the State of Utah's contract with BONFIRE. Additional vendor support resources are available through the BONFIRE vendor support portal for questions regarding the registration process.
