About this file
This document is a Solicitation Subcontractors List from the Great Lakes Water Authority (GLWA) Procurement Team for the Pump Station 2 VFDs Upgrade project at the Water Resource Recovery Facility (WRRF), with an effective date of 7/1/2024 and contract number 0004099. The document provides a template for vendors to list all subcontractors by specialty trade and work classification, enabling GLWA to evaluate the vendor's qualifications to perform the work.
The list requires vendors to nominate subcontractors they intend to award sub-agreements to, providing licensing information and employer identification numbers. Vendors must disclose all subcontractors or indicate they will self-perform specific work classifications. GLWA reserves the sole discretion to determine if a vendor's subcontractor list is conforming, and vendors are prohibited from removing or replacing subcontractors without good cause as determined exclusively by GLWA. The document emphasizes that this listing requirement does not create any express or implied duty or obligation between GLWA and the vendor or subcontractors.

Solicitation Subcontractor List
List of Subcontractors
Req/Contract No.: 0004099 Contract Title: Pump Station 2 VFDs Upgrade at the WRRF
This list of Subcontractors shall be used by the vendor to list, by specialty trade and classification of Work, all Subcontractors to enable the GLWA to evaluate the vendor's qualifications to perform the Work.
The vendor shall nominate all Subcontractors to whom the vendor intends to award a Sub-agreement. For each nominated Subcontractor, the vendor shall: (a) provide the required licensing information, and (b) enter the Subcontractor's employer number (Federal I.D. or State registration) in the designated spaces. If the vendor intends to self-perform a classification of Work for which a specialty contractor license is required, the vendor shall nominate itself in the spaces designated for that purpose and shall furnish the vendor’s license number(s) for that classification.
Failure by the vendor to identify a nominated Subcontractor or nominate the vendor itself may render its response as not conforming in all material respects with the requirements of the solicitation documents at GLWA's sole discretion. The requirement to make a definite nomination of Subcontractors or to state that the vendor intends to self-perform that trade or classification of Work, and to clarify any omissions or ambiguities in the List of Subcontractors, applies to the vendor and any firm wishing to remain under consideration for the award.
The vendor hereby agrees not to remove, replace or add a nominated Subcontractor except for good cause shown as determined solely by GLWA. This listing requirement is not intended to create any express or implied duty or obligation to the vendor or the nominated Subcontractors by the GLWA. Use Table 1 below to list the subcontractor and work to be performed.
