About this file

This is an anti-human trafficking affidavit document related to a demolition project for Broward County, Florida, located at Colbert Elementary School in Hollywood. The affidavit serves as a certification requirement for vendors responding to the demolition of air monitoring site solicitation. The scope of work encompasses the complete demolition of an 8' x 10' shed, fencing, footings, pavers, and associated debris at the site, along with removal of trees, shrubs, and vines within the fenced area. Following demolition, vendors must haul away all detritus and restore the site grounds to grass through St. Augustine sod installation. Solicitation responses must be submitted electronically through BPRO by the specified closing date and time, with vendors required to obtain a Submission Receipt to confirm receipt. All vendors are encouraged to submit responses in advance of the deadline, and the County requires compliance with both County and State licensing requirements as well as Small Business Enterprise (SBE) reserve considerations.

The anti-human trafficking affidavit represents a mandatory compliance document that vendors must complete and submit as part of their solicitation response. This requirement reflects Broward County's commitment to combating human trafficking through contractual obligations. The document does not establish specific pricing terms or funding amounts within its scope; rather, it certifies the vendor's compliance with anti-human trafficking regulations and standards. Vendors should note that while BPRO identifies certain documents as "optional," the County strongly encourages submission of all available materials to facilitate comprehensive and timely evaluation. Questions regarding solicitation requirements must be submitted through BPRO by the designated questions due date, with County responses provided through the platform's messaging section.
