About this file
This is an Invitation to Bid certification document for a state and local contract opportunity in Florida, specifically for Broward County. The project involves the demolition of an air monitoring site located at Colbert Elementary School, 2702 Funston Street, Hollywood, Florida 33020. The scope of work includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, services, and incidentals necessary for the complete demolition of an 8' x 10' shed, fencing, footings, pavers, and associated debris. Additional work includes removal of trees and shrubs within the fenced area and vines on fencing, with all demolition detritus to be hauled off and disposed of properly. Upon completion, the site grounds are to be returned to grass conditions through the installation of St. Augustine sod. Vendors are required to submit their solicitation responses electronically through BPRO (Broward Procurement Records Online) and must receive a submission receipt by the closing date and time specified in the solicitation. The County emphasizes that while certain documents are listed as optional in BPRO, all vendors are strongly encouraged to provide comprehensive submittals to enable timely and thorough evaluation.
The solicitation requires compliance with County and State licensing requirements as well as Office of Economic and Small Business Development (OESBD) requirements, including provisions for Small Business Enterprise (SBE) reserves. Vendors are afforded a specified period to submit questions and seek clarification regarding solicitation requirements through BPRO's Messages section. The County will provide responses to inquiries during the questions period. All solicitation responses submitted through means other than BPRO will not be considered by the County. Vendors are encouraged to submit their responses well in advance of the official closing deadline to ensure timely receipt and processing.
