About this file

This is an Insurance Requirements document for a demolition project managed by Broward County, Florida. The project involves the complete demolition of an air monitoring site located at Colbert Elementary School, 2702 Funston Street, Hollywood, Florida 33020. The scope of work encompasses removal of an 8' x 10' shed, fencing, footings, pavers, and associated debris; removal of trees and shrubs within the fenced area and vines on fencing; hauling and disposal of all demolition materials; and site restoration through the addition of St. Augustine grass sod. Vendors must submit responses electronically through BPRO (Broward Procurement and Requisition Online) and receive a submission receipt by the specified closing date and time. The County strongly encourages vendors to submit all requested documentation, including both required and optional items, to facilitate timely and comprehensive evaluation. Questions and clarification requests must be submitted through BPRO by the established Questions due date, with County responses provided in the BPRO Messages section.

The document establishes mandatory insurance requirements that contractors must maintain throughout project execution. Specific insurance coverage types, minimum limits, and policy conditions are detailed within this requirement document to ensure adequate protection for the County and project participants. The project is subject to Broward County and State of Florida licensing requirements, and the Office of Economic and Small Business Development (OESBD) requirements apply, including potential Small Business Enterprise (SBE) reserve considerations. All solicitation responses must be received exclusively through BPRO; responses submitted through alternative means will not be considered by the County. Vendors are advised to review the complete solicitation documentation to ensure full compliance with all requirements and conditions.
