About this file

This document is a Vendor Compliance Checklist for Elk Grove Unified School District's Request for Qualifications/Proposals (RFP) #826-25/26 for Athletic Trainers. The District is seeking qualified vendors to provide athletic training services across multiple sites and events, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Proposals must be submitted by April 17, 2026, at 4:00 P.M. PST through the EGUSD Online Bonfire Procurement Portal. The contract term and any renewal options are not specified in the provided documentation. Site visits and bidders' meetings information is not included in this compliance checklist.

Vendors must meet comprehensive requirements across seven compliance categories: corporate and contractual obligations including the ability to provide substitute Athletic Trainers without service disruption; licensure and certification standards requiring active California Athletic Trainer Licenses and current Board of Certification credentials; education qualifications including CAATE-accredited program completion and a master's degree in athletic training; required training certifications such as CPR/AED, First Aid, BLS for Healthcare Providers, mandated reporter training, and sexual harassment prevention training; background clearances including Live Scan DOJ/FBI clearance and negative TB testing; California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) and student-athlete safety compliance including concussion protocols and heat illness monitoring; and insurance requirements for professional liability and workers' compensation coverage. All proposed Athletic Trainers must have a minimum of one year of secondary school, collegiate, or youth sports experience. The District reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to audit vendor compliance at any time, with failure to maintain compliance potentially resulting in immediate personnel removal or contract termination.
