About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for the Columbia OPC Initial Outfitting Activation and Transitioning Contract, RFQ 36C77626Q0045. The document addresses clarifications to the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and does not specify particular products or services, response dates, or pricing terms.
The first question clarifies that the Training and Simulation Plan (Deliverable 16.7.1) is a mandatory deliverable due after Basis of Design (BOD), not contingent upon optional tasks as suggested by the deliverable schedule. The second question addresses travel reimbursement policy for temporary staff during procurement and installation phases, confirming that travel beyond a 50-mile radius from the contractor's facility is authorized for reimbursement on a case-by-case basis, subject to pre-approval by the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) via a Travel Authorization Request form (Attachment B), as specified in Section 11 of the PWS.
