About this file
This document is an Addendum (Number 03) for a VA project to Replace Friendship House (Project Number 635-418) located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, dated September 8, 2025. The addendum clarifies three Request for Information (RFI) items: RFI 17 requests structural details of four rectangular shapes on the building's south end, RFI 18 seeks details of four squares, and RFI 25 asks whether gates are high security or ornamental.
The addendum includes modifications to the Project Manual, specifically Section 32 31 40 on High Security Fences and Gates, which involves replacing the entire section and revising multiple subsections including installer qualifications, system performance, materials, fabrication, and installation requirements. The specifications detail technical requirements for anti-ram barrier systems, including specific performance standards for steel fencing, cable systems, and coating processes. The documentation references Ameristar products as the basis of design, with detailed specifications for fence panels, posts, rails, and associated hardware, emphasizing anti-climb and forced-entry resistance capabilities.
