About this file
This document contains an Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) and details of a related federal contract opportunity to replace a transformer and correct electrical deficiencies at a VA medical center building. The ICRA outlines a classification system for construction project types from A to D based on scope and activity, identifies affected patient risk groups from low to highest, and determines a class of precautions using an ICRA matrix based on project type and risk group. The federal contract opportunity is a 100% SDVOSB set-aside to be issued through RFP procedures with a tentative RFP date of January 18, 2022 and proposal due date of February 18, 2022. The location of work is the Overton Brooks VA Medical Center in Shreveport, Louisiana. The construction cost range is $500,000 to $1,000,000 and the NAICS code is 236220 with a small business size standard of $39.5M. Offerors must be registered and verified as an SDVOSB in the VetBiz registry and SAM database to be considered for award.
