This document is an Amendment (0001) to Solicitation 36C24926R0030 for concrete repair services at the James H. Quillen VA Medical Center in Mountain Home, Tennessee. The project involves concrete repairs and replacements at multiple buildings (B2, B45, B46, B160, and B162), including demolishing and replacing a basketball court, repairing sidewalks, and addressing trip hazards. Key modifications include providing answers to Request for Information (RFI) questions, adding attachments with drawings and specifications, scheduling a mandatory site visit on January 16, 2026, and extending the proposal due date to January 20, 2026, at 1:00 PM CT.
The scope of work includes specific repair requirements for each building: B162 involves concrete leveling and trip hazard removal, B45 and B46 require demolishing and installing new reinforced concrete sidewalks, B160 involves demolishing and replacing the basketball court with 6-inch steel reinforced concrete and adding court markings, and B2 requires replacing a damaged sidewalk. The project has a 39-calendar day performance period after Notice to Proceed, with a one-year warranty. The solicitation is issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration Veterans Integrated Service Network 9, and no bid bond will be required for this construction project.
