About this file

This document is an Amendment (0001) to a Request for Quote (RFQ) for Triennial Electrical Inspections at the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System (VAPHS). The solicitation (36C24426Q0055) is 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBC) with NAICS code 811210, targeting electrical equipment testing and inspection across multiple campus locations. The procurement requires comprehensive electrical system testing, including panels, switchgear, transformers, circuit breakers, protective relays, emergency systems, and grounding systems, with critical emphasis on minimizing disruptions to hospital operations in sensitive areas like ICUs, surgery suites, pharmacies, and emergency departments.

Key procurement details include a response deadline of January 8, 2026, at 15:00 ET, with quotes to be submitted to Contract Specialist Allan Tabliago. The amendment includes detailed responses to vendor questions, providing supplementary documentation such as equipment lists, single-line drawings, previous test reports, and Arc Flash study reports. The testing scope spans both the University Drive and Heinz campuses, involving multiple buildings and critical infrastructure, with a focus on ensuring comprehensive electrical system reliability and safety for veteran healthcare services.
