Question Number
Question/Answer
1 Question: Attachment D.11 does not provide usage but only PAR levels, essentially the inventory or stock levels maintained in the clinics. In order to price appropriately, could the last 12-month usage be provided?
Answer: Please refer to the table below for the detailed vaccine usage over the past 12 months:
Vaccine Count of Administrations
Influenza, High-dose, Trivalent, PF 197
TDAP 93
Influenza, Split Virus, Trivalent, PF 85
Zoster Recombinant 75
Pneumococcal Conjugate PCV20, Polysaccharide CRM197 Conjugate, Adjuvant, PF
COVID-19 (Pfizer), MRNA, LNP-S, PF, TRIS-SUCROSE, 30 MCG/0.3 ML (Ages 12+ Years)
HEPB-CPG 10
HPV9 10
Meningococcal Conjugate Quadrivalent, MENACWY-TT (MCV4)
HEP A, Adult 1

It is required that the clinic must maintain the following medications on hand:
• Ceftriaxone 500 mg IM injection (for immediate treatment of uncomplicated gonorrhea) – par level 1
• Nasal naloxone for emergency use at the clinic – par level 1
• Injectable epinephrine (1 mg/ml 30 ml vial) or epi-pen in case of anaphylactic reaction to vaccination – par level one box of two epi-pen syringes or two vials epinephrine
• Injectable diphenhydramine 50 mg/ml in case of anaphylactic reaction to vaccination – par level 2 vials
• If the primary care provider plans to do minor procedures in clinic, they may want vials of 1% or 2% lidocaine injection.
Attachment 1- Vendor Q&A- Clarification of Attachment D.11 Solicitation 36C24225R0047 Amendment 0003
Attachment D.11 includes a list of additional ward stock. However, this list is not exhaustive. The parent VA Medical Center does not possess precise data regarding the administration of medications other than vaccines at the Kingston CBOC.
In accordance with the PWS, the contractor will provide all medications that are to be administered to patients in the clinic (including vaccines in accordance with current and future Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP)/CDC recommendations and guidance).
2 Question: It was noticed that RSV vaccine was not included in the list in Attachment D.11. Is this clinic expected to provide the RSV vaccine and if so, what was the usage in the last 12 months?
Answer: Yes, it is expected that the contractor will provide the RSV vaccine in the clinic. The current contractor does not provide the vaccine in the clinic.
The RSV vaccine is currently recommended as a one-time vaccination over a person's lifetime.
At this time, the VA does not have precise data on the number of Veterans who have already received their dose, nor an exact estimate of the number of Veterans who will become eligible each year in the coming years. However, drawing from usage rates at staff model Community-Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs), the VA estimates that approximately 90 to 100 doses of the RSV vaccine will be needed annually.
