About this file
This document contains a proposal for roof replacement projects at a Veterans Affairs Medical Center. The Garland Company submitted technical specifications for replacing multiple roof sections, including upper PVC, ballasted EPDM, and swimming pool roofs. The roof assemblies proposed consist of mechanically fastened or fully adhered tapered polyiso insulation and cover boards set in adhesive, along with various membrane options such as Sarnafil PVC, EPDM, and KEE-Stone cap sheets. Replacement work includes removal and disposal of existing roof systems and installation of new assemblies per the specifications outlined.
A related federal contract opportunity from the Department of Veterans Affairs seeks bids to remove and replace the pool roof under solicitation number 36C24124B0021. The work location is specified as project 523A4-24-010 at the VAMC West Roxbury facility.
