1. Does the Government anticipate providing an attachment which is referenced in the Solicitation (see below):

2. Due to a scheduling conflict for a Baltimore City Public Schools Pre-Conference tomorrow, would the Government consider providing a photo gallery of the items to be relocated per floor?

a. No pictures available at this time

3. Does the Government have a formal Inventory of the items to be relocated per floor in a spreadsheet and would you consider sharing the spreadsheet?

a. See Attached “Project Migration Plan Workbook”

4. Regarding Page 8 of the Solicitation, does the Government have in its possession, an update for the estimated schedule outlining the desired duration of services to post as the most recent estimated schedule? ESTIMATED TIMELINE BELOW SUBJECT TO CHANGE

7. Are the Cubicles and systems furniture going to be broken down prior to the move?

a. To be broken down by awardee

8. Is the existing systems furniture on the 12th floor going to be moved at some point or will that be another contract?

a. At this time a separate contract

9. Will the Xerox copiers be moved by the movers or a Xerox contract?

a. By the movers. These are owned copiers without a service contract.

10. Are cardboard boxes or plastic totes to be provided?

a. Either may be provided.

11. Can the existing totes be used by the movers?

a. No.

12. How many freight elevators are there?

a. One, Elevator #1

13. Will the cubicles wiring be disconnected and removed by electricians or as part of this contract?

a. Yes

14. Who is providing the labels?

a. Veterans Affairs, Roanoke Regional Office

15. Will the labels be color coded?

a. They can be.

16. Will the Lateral files for Education and VR&E be emptied prior to being moved by VA employees or will they be emptied and reloaded by the contracted movers?

a. The lateral files will be emptied and reloaded by the movers under supervision of VA employees.

17. What is the make and model of the cubicles to be excessed?

a. Knoll

18. Will the movers have to remove files from the high-density files?

a. No. The high-density files are not part of this contract.

19. Is the Artwork going to be moved from any floors?

a. Not part of this contract

20. Is it an option to do ALL moving on the weekends? In particular for the cubicles take down.

a. Weekday work will be the excessing while making minimal noise, moves will be weekend.

21. Who will disconnect the computers and hook them back up?

a. Awardee is responsible for disconnecting, but not reconnecting, just unpacking the computers and placing the equipment on the new desk. This could be monitors, docking stations, desktops, personal printers, personal scanners, or all the above.

22. What is the cost of disposal in this area?

a. It is the responsibility of the vendor to tell the Government how much it will cost the Government to remove the required material per the contract.

23. Could the potential vendors receive a copy of the Project Migration Plan workbook that is referenced within Section B.2 Statement of Work Part VIII. Summary of Inventory to be Moved?

a. Attached

24. During the site visit, it was explained that only one dumpster would be authorized to be at the work site to remove the excess items. Could there be a possibility to increase the quantity of dumpsters to three? This would effectively reduce costs to the government.

a. Only 1 dumpster will be allowed, and coordination with GSA for placement prior to drop off.

25. Is the awardee “the movers”? Or is there a second team called the movers and the awardee only moves the electronics listed under each Phase: VIII. Summary of Inventory to be Moved

a. The awardee will do the moving and the excessing.

26. When it lists the number of boxes under VIII. Summary of Inventory to be Moved (ie Phase 1 – 122 14x14x14 boxes) is that for the staff’s belongings or additional supplies? Will the staff be responsible for packing their own belongings?

a. That is for both personal and computer equipment, size is flexible, the awardee supplies boxes, and the staff will box their personal stuff and office supplies, but the awardee will pack the computer equipment and peripherals.

27. Is the awardee of this contract responsible for breaking down cubicles and furniture? If so, will the cubicles and furniture be disposed of by the awardee, as well? What is considered “excess furniture”?

a. Some cubicles, but not all will be broken down by the awardee and disposed of with the other excess. Attached is a spreadsheet, there may be some additions and/or subtractions.

28. Is the awardee responsible for disconnecting the electronics at the origin & reconnecting the electronics at the destination?

a. Awardee is responsible for disconnecting, but not reconnecting, just unpacking the computers and placing the equipment on the new desk. This could be monitors, docking stations, desktops, personal printers, personal scanners, or all the above.

29. Is there any required work being performed onsite by the awardee on weekdays?

a. Weekday work will be the excessing while making minimal noise, moves will be weekend.

30. Where can the Project Migration workbook be accessed?

a. Attached

31. Could the Project Migration Plan workbook that is referenced in the statement of work (Part VIII. Summary of Inventory to Be Moved) of the solicitation be posted on FBO?
