About this file
This document is a Questions and Answers addendum related to a Request for Proposals (RFP) issued by the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) for the US26 AT CORNELIUS PASS RD: BIKE/PED CROSSING project. The RFP solicits proposals for a feasibility study to evaluate a future bicycle and pedestrian overcrossing across US26 near Cornelius Pass Road. The RFP indicates that only two project samples and references are required, despite an error in the RFP that stated three were needed.
The state and local contract opportunity involves planning for a bicycle and pedestrian overcrossing at this location to provide a safe and comfortable alternative to the existing Cornelius Pass Road interchange, which is not easily navigable for pedestrians and bicyclists. The contract will be awarded by ODOT, and the project is located in the state of Oregon. No additional details were provided regarding pricing, funding sources, set-asides, or the incumbent contractor.

ISSUED: JULY 29, 2024
Following are questions, and Agency’s answers, for the above referenced RFP. This document does not change the RFP requirements or otherwise modify the RFP documents. Changes or modifications to this RFP shall be binding on Agency only if in the form of written addenda published on OregonBuys.
Q #1: Could you please clarify if the quantity of reference projects requested is two as indicated in RFP section 2.2.2 evaluation and scoring criteria or three as indicated in RFP section 1.5.4e?
Answer #1: There was an error in this that will be updated by Amendment. In Section 1.5.4e it stated 3 references and provided a hyperlink to a document similar to the Project Samples and References Attachment D document. Only two Project sample and references are needed, not 3 as stated in Section 1.5.4e
