About this file

This document contains inquiry responses for Solicitation 23362, Group 30310 - Vehicle and Equipment Parts and Related Product (Statewide), issued by New York State's Office of General Services (OGS). The document provides official responses to three specific inquiries from potential bidders regarding the procurement of vehicle and equipment parts across all sixty-two New York State counties.

The solicitation requires bidders to provide Commonly Stocked Parts and optionally Direct Order Parts for multiple vehicle manufacturers across Part Groups 1-32, including light duty vehicle OEMs (Ford, GM, FCA) and heavy duty vehicle/equipment OEMs (Caterpillar, Case, John Deere, Mack, Navistar). Bidders must submit pricing with a single NYS Discount Percentage for Commonly Stocked Parts and a single NYS Cost-Plus Percentage for Direct Order Parts. The contract mandates statewide coverage, with parts delivery required within 24 hours across all NYS counties. Contractors can potentially fulfill coverage requirements through subcontractors or by designating resellers, and must bid on every product in the market basket listed in Attachment 1 - Pricing.
