About this file
This is a Bill of Sale document from Salt Lake City Corporation for the sale of aircraft equipment and related items. The City is selling a Convair 131 Samaritan (C-131) aircraft shell with cockpit controls, a MiG-21 Russian fighter jet, an ADA lift, folding airstairs, and a slide currently located at the City Civic Center. The equipment is being sold through a reverse bid process under agreement number CA-00 and GovTribe ID SLCI26103. No specific response deadline, bid opening date, or award date is provided in this Bill of Sale document, which serves as the purchase agreement template rather than the initial solicitation notice.
The Bill of Sale establishes that the equipment is sold on an "as is, where is" basis with all faults, and the City provides no warranties, representations, or guarantees regarding the condition, quality, suitability, or compliance of the equipment with applicable laws. The purchaser assumes all risks upon taking possession and is required to indemnify and hold harmless the City from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from the equipment. The document includes standard ethical representation requirements affirming that no illegal gifts, improper commissions, or conflicts of interest are involved in the transaction. Specific pricing information is not detailed in this template document, as the sale amount would be determined through the reverse bidding process. The effective date of the Bill of Sale is upon attestation by the Salt Lake City Recorder's Office.
