About this file

This document is a detailed Scope of Work (Exhibit A) for a Technical Specification issued by Salt Lake City Department of Airports for a Pre-Conditioned Air Unit. The procurement involves acquiring one trailer-mounted, diesel engine-driven air handler unit, specifically seeking a Jetaire M60 Ton Mobile Preconditioned Air Unit or an approved equivalent for the 2025 model year. The unit must be a new, current production model with a Tier 4 compliant engine that does not use Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF), designed to operate between 20°F and 105°F at altitudes up to 3,000 feet.

The technical specifications outline comprehensive requirements for the air unit, including specific details about the engine (Duetz/Cummins), cooling capacity (60 tons), compressor type (rotary screw), control system features, fuel system capabilities (8 continuous hours of operation), chassis design, maintenance accessibility, and sound output limitations (not exceeding 95 dBA at full load). The unit must include a one-year factory warranty and come with English-language operation and maintenance manuals. Bidders are required to provide complete responses to each specification, with potential disqualification for willful falsification of compliance information.
