About this file
This is a technical specification document for a gymnasium audiovisual (AV) system installation project. The document outlines a comprehensive AV setup designed to integrate multiple audio and video components within a gymnasium facility. The system includes a Crestron control system managed through a touchpanel located in the gymnasium, with custom mounting plates specified for installation. The configuration incorporates HDMI switchers, HDMI/RS232 extenders distributed across CAT 6 network infrastructure, dual wireless microphone receivers, an audio mixer, and an amplifier to support the gymnasium's presentation and announcement capabilities. The system interfaces with an Apple TV device and an Ethernet switch, with specific provisions that certain components (Apple TV and Ethernet switch) are to be provided by the building owner. Audio output is routed through speaker cables that must meet a minimum specification of 14 AWG gauge, terminating at a terminal block connection point.
The specification document establishes technical requirements for system integration but does not contain information regarding pricing, contract terms, bid submission dates, or procurement timelines. No details are provided regarding budget allocation, funding sources, set-asides, incumbent contractors, or award schedules. The document functions primarily as a technical design schematic indicating the interconnection of AV components and control systems required for gymnasium operations.
