About this file

This is an Attachment C document detailing cleaning quality standards for a NASA Glenn Research Center custodial services contract. The document outlines specific cleanliness requirements across multiple facility areas including routine janitorial services, restrooms, floors, cafeteria spaces, fitness centers, medical services areas, and clean rooms.

The standards cover detailed requirements for waste management, dusting, metal surface cleaning, carpet care, floor maintenance, and specialized cleaning for four classes of clean rooms (Class 100, 1,000, 10,000, and 100,000 per Federal Standard 209B). Key service requirements include emergency response times within two hours, specific particle count limits for clean rooms, and various unscheduled IDIQ services such as light fixture cleaning, high dusting up to 70 feet, drapery cleaning, and special event cleaning. The document emphasizes measurable cleanliness standards, such as surfaces being free of dust, streaks, and debris, with specific requirements for different surface types and facility areas.
