About this file

This document contains the City of Charlotte Procurement Portal Instructions for electronic solicitation submissions through the Bonfire platform. The instructions detail the process for vendors to submit questions and proposals electronically via https://charlottenc.bonfirehub.com, with all submissions required to be uploaded, submitted, and finalized prior to the project's posted due date. The City strongly recommends allowing sufficient time for submission, ideally a week before the deadline, to account for potential upload times depending on file size and internet connection speed.

The document provides technical guidance for vendors, specifying compatible web browsers (Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox) with requirements for enabled JavaScript and browser cookies. For technical support, vendors can access Bonfire's help forum at https://vendorsupport.gobonfire.com/hc/en-us, contact their support team via email at Support@GoBonfire.com, or call 1-800-354-8010. A five-minute training video is also recommended to help vendors understand the registration and submission process on the Bonfire platform.
