About this file
This is a Scope of Work document for ITB 260338 in Massachusetts, establishing requirements for inspection, testing, and maintenance of fire suppression systems across multiple facilities. The contract encompasses semi-annual inspection and maintenance services for fire suppression systems located at 2 dining facilities, 2 kitchens, and 1 HAZMAT storage facility to ensure compliance and certification. The initial contract term is three years, with two one-year renewal options available, providing flexibility for continued service beyond the initial commitment period. Within the first year of contract performance, the contractor must complete repairs addressing a defined list of known deficiencies identified in the fire suppression systems.
The document establishes baseline requirements for contractor qualifications, service standards, and inspection protocols necessary to maintain functional and compliant fire suppression systems across the specified facilities. The semi-annual service schedule ensures regular monitoring and maintenance to prevent system failures and maintain regulatory compliance. The inclusion of a repair component during year one addresses existing system deficiencies, while ongoing semi-annual maintenance prevents future deterioration and extends system life.
