About this file
This file is a Brand Standards & Guidelines document issued by Collier County, Florida, establishing visual identity standards for use by county employees and authorized contractors. The document serves as a comprehensive stylebook for the proper application of the Collier County logo, Board of County Commissioners seal, and related branding elements across all county communications and materials. The guidelines apply to both print and digital applications and are mandatory for all parties using county branding, including the Parks & Recreation Division in connection with the County Signage contract opportunity. The document specifies three logo versions (stacked, horizontal, and icon formats), establishes color palettes with precise CMYK, RGB, and web color codes, and defines minimum and preferred reproduction sizes (1.5 inches and 2 inches wide, respectively). Detailed spacing and exclusion zones are provided to ensure logos remain clear and legible, while specific guidance prohibits stretching, flipping, shadowing, rotating, mixing colors, or separating icon elements without approval from the County Manager's Office, Division of Communications, Government & Public Affairs.
The guidelines establish typography standards utilizing Woodmark and Perpetua fonts for all county branding materials and specify procedures for department and division branding that incorporate the county icon and woodmark with departmental names. All parties requesting department or division branding must contact the Communications, Government & Public Affairs Division at 239-252-8373 for approval and implementation. The document emphasizes that the Collier County logo and Board of County Commissioners seal cannot be used by non-county government entities in their literature without prior written approval from the County Manager or the Communications, Government & Public Affairs Director, and that Collier County must be an official sponsor of any event or program where branding is displayed. Logo placement guidelines include examples for standard letter-size documents, and the Communications, Government & Public Affairs Division, located at 3299 Tamiami Trail E, Suite 102, Naples, FL 34112, serves as the central resource for all branding inquiries and approvals.
