About this file

This is a Bid Schedule document prepared by Collier County, Florida's Procurement Services Division on behalf of the Solid & Hazardous Waste Management Division for the Turnaround Program Construction Services contract. The schedule presents two representative project examples—a Hammerhead project and a Designated Driveway project—with estimated quantities for evaluation purposes only, noting that actual quantities are not guaranteed. The Hammerhead example includes mobilization and demobilization, silt fence installation, clearing and grubbing, excavation, imported fill, asphalt milling and removal, asphalt concrete placement, stabilized subgrade, reinforced concrete pavement, sod installation, elliptical reinforced concrete pipe, mitered end sections, rip-rap placement, and object marker replacement. The Designated Driveway example includes similar site preparation work along with driveway demolition, limerock base installation, concrete pavement, and HDPE culvert pipe installation. The document provides detailed unit of measurement descriptions for each line item, with all pricing to be all-inclusive of labor, fuel, equipment, supplies, permits, materials, and mobilization costs.

Bidders must submit pricing for all line items in both project examples, with zero-dollar entries rendering a bid non-responsive and disqualifying it from consideration. Historically, Collier County departments have allocated approximately $1,650,000 annually for these services, though this figure is not indicative of future spending patterns. The contractor's pricing must account for all materials and labor necessary to properly complete projects, including rock and debris excavation, piping, silt fence, and any other required materials. Bids will be evaluated based on the unit prices submitted for each line item, which will be applied to actual project quantities as work is assigned under the contract.
