About this file

This Scope of Work document outlines a wireless infrastructure replacement project for Jones County Schools System (JCSS) in Gray, Georgia, funded through the E-Rate program. The project involves a one-for-one replacement of existing wireless access points across ten locations, including five schools, two elementary facilities, the board of education office, a pre-K center, the technology office, and the transportation office. The equipment specification includes Cisco Catalyst wireless access points in three models (CW9164, CW9166, and CW9163E) with quantities varying by location, totaling 388 units of the CW9164 model, 22 units of the CW9166 model, and 16 units of the CW9163E model across all sites. Vendors must provide a detailed project plan that includes hardware lead times, installation timeline, and assigned staff, along with documentation of prior experience with similar installations, K-12 sector work, and any previous projects completed for Jones County Schools.

The vendor selected as the winning bidder will be responsible for uninstalling current access points, installing new equipment, and transporting removed hardware to the Technology office. Installation work must be scheduled when students are not present to minimize disruption to school operations. Pricing must be submitted by location and clearly separated into E-Rate eligible and ineligible categories, reflecting the federal funding structure of this infrastructure modernization initiative. The document does not specify response deadlines, award dates, or contract terms, indicating this is the technical specification component of the broader procurement process.
